Interactive forum theatre events
Forum theatre is a dynamic workshop using drama to engage with your staff and encourage discussion. It is particularly useful in addressing diversity awareness, inappropriate behaviour and performance management issues.
Working in partnership with you and concentrating on the areas of behaviour you wish to address, we research and write a bespoke scene based on factual case studies. Once you are happy with the content, we engage our professional actors who are then fully rehearsed to performance level.
Your delegates are invited to a workshop which would noramally last 1½ hours. The topic is introduced by a facilitator and the expectations and outcomes of the workshop are explained.
After the scene is played, our facilitator or yours will kickstart a debate to encourage comments on the issues raised. The characters from the scene are then brought out one by one to be quizzed by the delegates about their attitudes and behavior.
The scene is then performed again and delegates are given the opportunity to stop the action and redirect the scene by giving suggestions directly to the characters. The actors will then improvise around the suggestions given to them.
Through our network of independent consultants, occupational psychologists and coaches we can tailor any project to your individual needs. Whether it be a one off event at your staff conference or a long term strategy for your company.
